Sooner Nationals Race report
IM BMX Sooner National Results
It was great weekend for the IM BMX race team at the Sooner Nationals in Guthrie, OK. The racing over the weekend was very good. The pre-race results started off great. All IM BMX racers made their mains on Friday night and looked very good, but we knew Saturday would be a bigger challenge for the racers. Saturday’s Moto count approached 200 motos. Our first racer out of the gate in open was Braydon Cromwell on Saturday with our last being “Superman” Lujan last in 15 expert class. IM BMX racers who made the Main event when the dust settled were “Battlin” Braydon Cromwell 6I, Joshua “The Real Deal” Seal 7I, Milan Pollock and “Crazy” Chris Driver both in 9I, David “Superman” Lujan in 15X and Mike Cromwell in 31-35N. The girls were flying as well. Maggie Clemenson 7G, Chyenne Hill 12G, Shannon “the Cannon” Bowles in both 12G and 11-13G cruiser, and Anna Appleby 46 & over G and G cruiser class. Mike Cromwell and Anna Appleby were our only podium finishes on Saturday with Mike with a First and Anna with the 2 spot in both her classes. IM BMX was able to score 6th out of 18 on the trophy team sheet. Sunday we made some adjustments and talked to the racers about their races. We had much better results in all areas. As the main event finishers were about the same. But the podium finishes were much improved. Joshua Seal 8th in the main on Saturday to 3rd place finish on Sunday, Chris Driver 4th on Saturday to 2nd on Sunday missing the win by half a wheel, Anna Appleby 2nd on Saturday to win on Sunday. The team sheet was also much better as we finished 2nd on the podium. This was a great weekend of racing for IM BMX and being our first 2010 national. We are looking to have a very successful season racing. We would like to thank GHP, Crupi, Risen, for all your support

IM BMX Minnesota road trip
The Girls and I made the roadie up to Minnesota to get our start to the season going. You could tell the gorls we're a little flat after not being on the bikes for month. Isabelle and Maggie came home with 3 - 3rd and a 2nd over the weekend. Both improved over the course of the weekend as well. I got to hang with some of our newest member of the team Mike Bruesh who joined us and picked up his new cruiser. Heck, I even got some practice in helping the "fireball" on the gate. That little mini can really come out of the gate. Isabelle seems to really loving the new junior frame as well.
IM BMX Wyoming State qualifier, Rock Springs
The IM BMX crew handled it in Wyoming this last weekend. After a wonder Brithday party the crew continued on to a party on the podium the rest of the weekend. Congratulations to the newest members of the IM BMX team.

IM BMX Road Trip
Well the KC IM BMX team had a little road trip over the New Year's weekend. First to Desoto and Cowtown BMX in Texas. Were they put down a couple wins then off to Greeley CO to race the opening of the new Colorado Indoor BMX. While there they meet up with the Wyoming Group who had a little road trip of their own going. While Colorado group played host. I want to thank all you guys for the dedication to BMX. So when is the next road trip? Maybe Reno, if not Sooner nats for sure.
Happy New Year
I just want to wish everybody in the IM BMX/GHP family a Happy New Year. I will try to better update this site as well.
